Red China paints were applied to accents. Then the piece was refired to cone 015. Coat of opalescent red overglaze was painted to the accents. Refired again to cone 017.

The work was then air-brushed with pumpkin, orange and yellow underglazes. It was fired again to cone 6. Gold opalescent overglaze accents were added. Final refiring was done to cone 017.
