This piece was undertaken with the objective of creating a work showing the details of the front and the back of the sunflower, represented by images displayed on both the front and the reverse sides of the plate.

Construction sequence: Fired to cone 06. Both sides hand-painted with Amaco velvet underglazes for a soft satin matte finish. Refired to cone 6. No clear glaze needed.
