This drafting table, one of two in the studio, is used for drawing and creating designs.

Ceramic works are designed here, and when they almost completed, this is also the area used for adding delicate, detailed cold finishes.

A gallery display area is where some completed works are show.

There is track lighting above display shelving to enhance the view of the ceramic pieces exhibited there.

The large airy windows look out on the nearby lake.

The display space abuts an area with abundant shelves for storage of supplies.

Shown also are the large bright windows overlooking the lake outside and the high cathedral cieling that adds a brightness to the studio ambience.

At the far lower right is the location in the studio where the potter's wheel is located.

Above the wheel is my collection of glazes, underglazes and lusters.

The second work area is shown here. Above the table is a series of bright windows with inspiring outdoor forest views.

The windows are adorned with chili pepper lights, a gift from my children.

On ground level, with direct access to the out-of-doors, are the computer-controlled kilns for finely-controlled temperature regulation during the vitrification process that converts worked and decorated clay to ceramic art forms.
