This teapot, an evolutionary advance on the original Leather and Lace, is hand-built of stoneware clay.

The spout and the feet are wheel thrown. The faux lace is press mold.

Construction sequence:

Underglazes are air-brushed. First fired to cone 06. Sprayed with matte gold cone 6 glaze. Refired to cone 6. Luster gold glaze then applied. Final firing to cone 016. Cold finished with gold Baroque gilding added to the lace areas.
