• Hand-built with press mold patterning. Made of stoneware clay.
• Construction sequence: Fired to cone 06. Rose cone 6 glaze applied. Refired to cone 6. Silver opalescent cone 017 glaze applied. Fired again to cone 017.
• Size: 11.0" x 11.0" x 7.0".
• Date: 2005.
• Exhibited at show called Steeped in Tradition at Ariana Galler, Royal Oaks, MI.
• The greatest challenges in construction were making the chains and getting the matte silver glaze just right. The latter required a cone 017 opalescent overglaze and an extra firing.
• Inspired by a gift of a pocketbook from my daughter.
• Sold.
